Celebrate the collaboration between grassroots community activists and the political leaders we work so hard to elect!
Please help CLCV honor four outstanding environmental champions:
- Senator Alan Lowenthal, lifetime CLCV score of 96%, has introduced bills to reduce diesel pollution at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, passed legislation to get more zero-emission vehicles on the road and get poisonous perchlorethylene (perc) out of our air and water
- Jesse Marquez, Founder and Executive Director of Coalition For A Safe Environment, Co-Chairman Sierra Club Harbor Vision Task Force, member of Port of Los Angeles Community Advisory Committee, Wilmington Waterfront Development Committee, and Modesta Avila Coalition
- Elisa Nicholas, MD, MSPH, Chief Executive Officer of The Children’s Clinic, Serving Children and Their Families and Project Director of Long Beach Alliance for Children with Asthma
